You will find the Natural History Museum of Maastricht tucked away in one of the most atmospheric corners in the historic city of Maastricht. It is easily reached by public transport or on foot, and is close to caf\u00e9s, restaurants and shopping centres.<\/p>

The museum is home to both permanent and temporary exhibitions, boasts extensive collections, runs workshops and organizes activities of several kinds. Mosasaur<\/h2>\n\n\nCome and meet B\u00e8r, Carlo, Kristine and Lars \u2013 proper Dutch dinosaurs. The Mosasaurs were excavated right here from under Sint Pietersberg and are more than 66 million years old. We have a continuing excavation being carried out in our Sciencelab. Permanent exhibitions<\/h2>\n\nThe beauty and wealth of Limburg\u2019s wildlife is permanently on display in the Natural History Museum of Maastricht.
